Lovely bright morning so we decided to go up Table Mountain. So we hopped on the Hop-on-Hop-off bus having got up early (again!) to book our tickets, to avoid the queues. But, first disappointment of the week - no queues cos no cable car running! Too windy! Still we had a lovely day as we hopped back on the bus round to the waterfront for a short, free canal boat ride before hopping back on the bus to the beautiful Kirstenbosch botanical garden. It was owned by Cecil Rhodes and left to the nation when he died in 1902. The bus ride to the gardens went along the coast road with stunning scenery with the mountains on one side and beautiful White beaches on the other, with huge waves crashing round the rocks. We walked around the gardens and got sunburnt despite the wind! Then we hopped back on the bus and headed for home, exhausted again! Well folks that's a quarter of our trip gone!
