Day 5 visit to Lesedi

My Goddaughter Fiona picked us up this morning to take us out to Lesedi, which is an African tribal experience! It is laid out as 4 different tribal villages. We were taken round by our Zulu guide and greeted in each village by the different tribal people and saw their huts. They acted out some of their customs and we sampled some of their food including fried mpame worms!!! See picture for proof!
Following the tour of the villages we were treated to a very energetic display of different African dances with lots of lively singing and drumming. Maggie even joined in!! Sorry no photo proof. After all that excitement we went for a lunch of many different African foods including Pap, Ostrich, Crocodile and a variety of vegetables, followed by some delicious sweets. All very tasty. Then home for a cuppa before going out to eat again!!!  with the family here. We shall come home twice the size we went!
Off to Cape Town tomorrow early! Leaving here at 6am. Will try to continue blog but may be off air for a few days. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. How's the snow in the UK!!
