Hi Everyone
Sorry that we have been 'off air' for the last few days but internet connection up here in White River isnt so easy! However, hopefully now we are up and running again.
There hasn't been much to report for the last few days as we have been recovering from our long drive here from Jo'burg, It is also extremely hot - well over 30 degrees- so we have taken the opportunity of a bit of a rest before the next step of our adventures. On Friday we went to the Golf club for lunch as Wendy's church were running a fund raising event there. Didn't do much golfing but drove around the course in a buggy. Saturday we went into Nelspruit shopping and stopped at Bundu, an animal park, on the way where we saw our first zebras and baby. A friend came round in the evening.
Today started at 6.30am as we had to leave for White River Methodist Church at 7.30am. Goodness knows how Capelites would manage with that every Sunday!!! The service was good, very similar to ours, with Communion and it was over just after nine. By then the temperature was hotting up so we returned home for a cool drink, although struggling at the moment with a broken down fridge - not good. This afternoon we have just sat around and chatted as too hot to do anything else. This evening, can you believe, we went to our first candlelit Carol service at Penryn College which was very enjoyable, if hot!
Have spent the last half hour trying to get the camera memory cards into the computer but having worked yesterday it now won't work. So, sorry no pictures today. Will try again tomorrow.
