However as a bonus we were able to see the little ones at the Pre-School Day Centre practicing their dancing and singing for their show on Saturday. There are around 97 who come daily with ages ranging from 3 months to 6 years.
There were about 96 of them today. They were really cute to watch.
After that, around lunch time Jerry took us to the Lowveld National Botanical Garden in Nelspruit. It had become quite hot by then so it was good to be in the cool under the trees.
We first went to see the Waterfall cascading down high rock face which had amazing holes produced by years of water and falling boulders.
We then walked all round the gardens, which were very well labelled with very interesting informative signs. Some examples of the flora were Baobab trees, Candelabra trees, Cycads, Cabbage trees, Coppersmith Corkwood (myrrh tree), Bushman's Poison tree (from which the poison for poison arrow heads are made), Knobbly fig tree, Sycamore fig tree (that Zacchaeus climbed) and huge Agapanthus.
We saw some Rainbow lizards sunning themselves, yellow tailed females and blue tailed males. We also heard lots of birds, but were not able to see them except the Hadeda Ibis and a Kurrichane thrush.
We were pretty tired by the time we got home, but after tea we had a go at rewriting the lost blogs!!
